High-temperature resin
Heat deflection temperature above 200 °C; hot air, fluid and mold tests.
What is High-temperature resin?
High-temperature resins can reach a heat deflection temperature above 200 °C after post-curing. They are used for hot air and fluid tests, heat-resistant fixtures and low-volume injection mold inserts.

Frequently asked questions about High-temperature resin
What is High-temperature resin?
High-temperature resins can reach a heat deflection temperature above 200 °C after post-curing. They are used for hot air and fluid tests, heat-resistant fixtures and low-volume injection mold inserts.
Is High-temperature resin heat resistant?
The heat deflection temperature (0.45 MPa) of High-temperature resin is about 230 °C. This is very high; suitable for demanding thermal environments.
Can High-temperature resin be used outdoors?
It can degrade under prolonged sunlight and UV light. For outdoor use, ASA or another UV-resistant material should be preferred.
Which parts are made with High-temperature resin?
High-temperature resin is typically used in applications such as hot air/fluid test parts, mold inserts, heat-resistant fixtures.
Which material can be used instead of High-temperature resin?
Depending on the application, PEEK, ULTEM™ 1010, PPA-CF can be alternatives. You can see the differences in the comparison tables on the material pages.
