Tough resin (ABS-like)

ABS-like toughness; for functional prototypes with snap fits and clips.

What is Tough resin (ABS-like)?

Tough resins are formulated to reduce the brittleness of standard resin. They produce functional prototypes that can flex without breaking and withstand snap fits and screw assembly.

  • Fine detail
  • High strength

Technical data

Typical values compiled from common manufacturer datasheets; they vary by brand and grade.

Tensile strength≈ 40 – 55 MPa
Elongation at break≈ 25 – 50%
Tensile modulus≈ 1.8 – 2.4 GPa
Heat deflection temperature (0.45 MPa)≈ 50 – 65 °C
