Why 3D printing for robotics and automation?

In robotics, every gram and every millimeter matters. 3D printing makes it possible to design gripper fingers around the shape of the workpiece, change sensor and camera brackets within hours, and produce lightweight housings with complex internal channels. With an engineering background, our team joins your project from the design stage.

  • Light weightLightweight, rigid parts in place of metal with carbon fiber reinforced materials.
  • Purpose-built designGripper fingers and tools that fit the shape of the workpiece.
  • Fast changesReproduce parts quickly when the line or product changes.
  • Complex geometryInternal cable channels, vacuum lines and lattice structures.

Good to know

Robotics and Automation: frequently asked questions

Can you design gripper fingers for our workpiece?

Yes. Share the workpiece model or the part itself and we will design the gripping surface around it and produce it.

Can plastic replace metal parts?

For many brackets and fixtures, carbon fiber reinforced nylon offers enough strength at a much lower weight. We evaluate it together based on load and temperature.

Can you join our robot project from the start?

Yes. We support your project for manufacturability from the idea analysis and 3D design stage onwards.
